Job Title: Health Care Aide

St.Amant is seeking a skilled Health Care Aide to join our team in providing exceptional support services to individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, and acquired brain injury.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering personalized support services, promoting independence, and enhancing the quality of life for our clients. This role requires a compassionate and dedicated individual who can work effectively in a team environment and adapt to the diverse needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to assist clients with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household management.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of individualized care plans, ensuring that clients' needs are met and their goals are achieved.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive support services, including medical care, therapy, and education.
  • Ensure a safe and healthy environment for clients, adhering to St.Amant's policies and procedures.
  • Document client progress, incidents, and concerns, maintaining accurate and confidential records.
Requirements:
  • Health Care Aide certificate from an approved educational institution.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in providing residential and/or community support services to individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, and acquired brain injury.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
  • Valid Class 5F Manitoba Driver's License and a satisfactory driver's abstract.
