Senior Wealth Strategist

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans for high net worth clients.
- Provide expert financial planning advice on complex strategies.
- Collaborate with internal colleagues to ensure integrated and organized approach to financial planning.
- Build relationships with external experts to provide optimal service on complex planning matters.
- Contribute to the effective functioning of the Financial Planning Advisory team.
Requirements:
- Professional designation: CPA.
- University degree.
- Accredited financial planning designation (IQPF applicable for Quebec).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a high net worth financial planner.
Preferred Qualifications:
- TEP designation.
- Life Insurance license.
- Professional designation (CMA, CGA, LLB).
- Canadian Securities Course.
- Additional estate and/or tax courses.
Language Requirements:
Pursuant to a language needs assessment conducted by Scotiabank, the successful candidate will be required to be able to communicate in English in addition to French because they will be required to work closely with other groups from head office who operate primarily in English and they will serve and English-speaking clientele.
