Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team at Community Therapists. As a Community Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for completing in-home and community-based assessments, supervising rehab assistants, and developing and overseeing gym and pool-based activation programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients in their homes and community settings
  • Supervise and guide rehab assistants to ensure high-quality care
  • Design and implement effective gym and pool-based activation programs
  • Liaise with healthcare teams, including occupational therapists and physicians, to ensure comprehensive care

Requirements

  • Current membership with the College of Physiotherapists of British Columbia (CPTBC) or eligibility for registration
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Experience with standardized assessments and a strong understanding of rehabilitation principles
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working with insurance payers is an asset
