Furniture Store Manager Job Description

LONDON LIQUIDATION CENTRE INC. is seeking a highly skilled Furniture Store Manager to lead our team in providing exceptional customer service and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and optimize daily store operations to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.
  • Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to attract and retain customers.
  • Manage and train a team of 5-10 staff members to provide excellent customer service and achieve sales targets.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to staff.
  • Oversee the procurement and inventory management of merchandise, ensuring timely restocking and minimizing stockouts.
  • Plan and manage budgets, monitoring revenues and expenses to ensure profitability.
  • Recruit and supervise staff, ensuring a positive and inclusive work environment.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in retail management, preferably in a furniture store setting.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate and optimize store operations.
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook and other business software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on attention to detail and customer satisfaction.
Working Conditions:
  • Fast-paced retail environment with a focus on customer service.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day.
  • Standing for extended periods, with regular breaks to rest and recharge.
Language:

English is the primary language of communication in this role.
