Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and guest-centric individual to join our team as an Assistant Restaurant Manager at Quails' Gate Winery. In this role, you will work closely with the restaurant management team to lead, coach, and promote quality and consistency of service, supporting our primary brand standards in every interaction.

About the Role

The Assistant Restaurant Manager is integral to the successful operation of the restaurant and requires a candidate who is knowledgeable in the administrative side of running a successful food and beverage establishment. You will be responsible for supervising daily floor activities, fostering a positive and energetic work environment, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coach the restaurant team to deliver exceptional service and quality
  • Supervise daily floor activities and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Foster a positive and energetic work environment
  • Support the restaurant management team in achieving business objectives

Requirements

  • Serving it Right & Food Safe Level 1 certification
  • 1-2 years of previous restaurant supervisory/management experience, preferably within fine dining
  • WSET level 2 or ISG level 2 wine education
  • 2 years of operational experience, and full comprehension of beverage inventory systems and controls
