Job Summary

We are seeking a part-time General Psychiatrist to join our team at the Department of Psychiatry in Nanaimo. The successful candidate will provide psychiatric services for patients experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity, with a focus on medical stabilization and supporting individuals to maintain housing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide psychiatric assessment, case formulation, and medication management to patients with a full range of psychiatric disorders and comorbidities
  • Collaborate with other physicians and health professionals to deliver comprehensive care
  • Work closely with community-based external agencies and stakeholders to support patient needs

Requirements
