We are seeking a skilled Business Development Specialist to join our team at Dynamic Funds, a subsidiary of Scotiabank. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a critical role in processing expense reports, maintaining business contracts, and verifying details in our customer relationship management system.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for completing expense reports in a timely manner, working closely with Compliance to ensure proper due diligence is maintained on events, and coordinating the completion of contracts with vendors. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and become a candidate for an Inside Sales Representative position within a few years.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Completing expense reports for wholesalers by collecting and scanning receipts, inputting necessary information into the CRM, and initiating the approval process;
  2. Charging expenses to correct G/L codes and cost centers by analyzing receipts and invoices, recording entries;
  3. Protecting the organization's value by verifying Dynamic Sales Policies and Procedures spending limits are properly maintained;
  4. Soliciting contracts from vendors on behalf of Dynamic Sales;
  5. Creating and managing a contracts strategy;
  6. Working closely with Legal to ensure contracts are standardized and approved;
  7. Collaborating with other Sales Associates to assist in the overflow of work whenever necessary;
  8. Adapting to changing internal policies initiated by shifting trends within our industry;
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or related field;
  • CSC or IFIC certification preferred;
  • Strong attention to detail, thoroughness, organization, analytical skills, accounting knowledge, PC proficiency, data entry skills, and general math skills;
