About the Role

Mehraz Building Dreams Inc. is seeking a skilled Floor Covering Installer to join our team. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our clients receive high-quality floor coverings that meet their needs and exceed their expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered, ensuring accurate measurements and efficient installation processes.
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding to create a stable and even surface.
  • Install carpeting, resilient floor coverings, and hardwood floors, adhering to industry standards and company guidelines.
  • Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings, ensuring a seamless and professional finish.
  • Estimate costs and materials, providing accurate quotes to clients and ensuring profitability for the company.
  • Prepare floors for installations, removing existing coverings and contaminants as needed.
  • Install carpeting on walls or other surfaces, utilizing knee kickers and other equipment to achieve a professional finish.
  • Perform direct glue-down carpet installations, ensuring a strong and durable bond.
  • Install outdoor carpets, adapting to various environmental conditions and client requirements.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in floor covering installation is an asset.
  • Ability to work in various locations, including client sites and our warehouse.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on client satisfaction.
  • Willingness to travel and adapt to changing circumstances.
