Flight Safety Compliance and Conformance Auditor

About the Role:
Ornge is seeking a highly skilled Flight Safety Compliance and Conformance Auditor to join our team. As a key member of our Flight Operations Safety department, you will be responsible for ensuring the contracted carrier audit program is executed effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute audit processes, including internal evaluation audits, maintenance of the Contracted Carrier oversight program, and identification of audit trends.
- Maintain the Emergency Response Plan (ERP) by reviewing and revising the ERP Manual, updating the ERP Contact List, and preparing effective trial strategies.
- Develop and implement Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) to address identified deficiencies, validate CAP implementation, and maintain accurate audit and CAP records.
- Oversee the reporting of Civil Aviation Daily Occurrence Reporting System (CADORS) occurrences, including monitoring the CADORS database, coordinating with stakeholders, and submitting summaries to the MOH.
- Support the development and implementation of flight safety initiatives and assist with regular Aviation Safety office tasks.
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in an aviation-related field.
- Qualified as a Lead Auditor with a minimum of three (3) years of auditing experience.
- Minimum of five (5) years' of operational experience in Aviation Flight Operations or in an aviation-related field.
- Sound knowledge of the Canadian Aviation Regulations/Standards and ability to interpret Aviation Regulations and Regulator documents.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report preparation and presentations.
- Strong computer acumen and self-motivated with excellent planning, prioritizing, and project management abilities.
