Sales Consultant

Our Retail Sales Consultants work closely with customers to understand their needs and recommend tailored solutions. Using our software program, they provide informative quotes, sales orders, and invoices while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate expertise in all Napoleon products and effectively communicate this knowledge to customers.
- Ensure exceptional sales service and build strong relationships with customers.
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals.
- Prepare quotes, sales orders, and invoices using our software system (Evosus) and follow proper procedures for collecting deposits and payments.
- Conduct home pre-inspects and recommend suitable products or services.
- Complete administrative tasks such as submitting detailed pictures, layouts, and measure-ups for installations, credit applications, rebates, and maintaining accurate customer files.
- Maintain inventory control and notify customers when products are available.
- Represent Napoleon at trade shows, home shows, and special events.
- Evaluate and maintain product displays in the showroom to ensure they are visually appealing to customers.
Requirements:
- A minimum of two years' experience in retail sales.
- Prior experience in product knowledge (Fireplace, HVAC, and Grills) is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook).
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel out of town as required and adapt to varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and extended hours.
