Delivering Excellence in Food Distribution

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Driver to join our team at Performance Food Group. As a critical member of our food distribution network, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of food products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive on local and national highways, over-the-road (OTR), shuttle, and overnight routes to deliver and/or unload food and food-related products to customers.
  • Communicate and interact with customers, vendors, and co-workers professionally, ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain daily electronic driving logs and perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment, paperwork, and loaded product.
  • Notify Customer Service with any route changes, time delays, and non-delivered orders.
  • Check-in with customers at each designated account and serve as a Core-Mark representative.
  • Find solutions to possible challenges with the assistance of Customer Service.
  • Unload and deliver product to assigned areas within accounts as directed by the customer.
  • Assist Customer Service and Buyers as needed in a prompt, professional manner.
  • Check for credits and process them according to company guidelines.
  • Submit customer payments and paperwork to appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
