HMR Veterans Services, Inc. is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathology Specialist to join our team at the Richard M. Campbell Veterans Home.

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Speech-Language Pathology Specialist to provide therapeutic services to our residents. As a Speech-Language Pathology Specialist, you will be responsible for establishing and monitoring therapeutic plans of care, utilizing available support staff to maximize the delivery of therapeutic services with significant outcome in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and monitor therapeutic plans of care
  • Utilize available support staff to maximize the delivery of therapeutic services
  • Meet current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations

Requirements:

  • Clinical knowledge obtained from an accredited SLP program
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Master's Degree in SLP from an accredited college or university
  • Current State license in specific discipline
  • Working knowledge of PPS and Medicare guidelines, OBRA, OSHA and state regulatory agency requirements
  • Knowledgeable of PT, OT or SLP practice acts and procedures
