Job Summary

NearSource Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Lead AEM Developer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for shaping pioneering solutions and driving technological excellence forward.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the full development life cycle, including requirements analysis and design, and contribute to daily SCRUM meetings and technical discussions.
  • Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements, and investigate questions or clarifications where requirements are unclear.
  • Support, maintain, and document software functionality, and identify and evaluate new technologies for implementation.
  • Analyze code to find causes of errors and revise programs as needed.
  • Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements.
  • Consult with end users to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs to meet their needs.
  • Develop and maintain AEM components, templates, and workflows, and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest AEM features and technologies, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on AEM and related technologies.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Excellent technical skills, with a strong understanding of AEM, HTL, Sling Model development, and related technologies.
  • Strong experience in web application development, including REST, Java, J2EE, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, AJAX, JSON, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Hands-on experience in creating OSGI bundles, AEM template components, and workflows.
  • Strong experience in using AEM Sling, including Dialog Configuration, Authoring Environment, CRX DE, Package Manager, User Administration Area, Assets Area, and OSGi consoles.
  • Experience with front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS/CSS3, and JavaScript.
