Job Title: Child Care Worker

LITTLE BUBBLES CHILD CARE is seeking a dedicated and caring Child Care Worker to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Child Care Worker to provide high-quality care and education to infants and toddlers in our daycare setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers with care and attention to their individual needs.
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Engage in storytelling and other activities that stimulate children's imagination and creativity.
  • Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Order supplies and equipment as needed to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
  • Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records of children's progress and development.
  • Guide and assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods.
  • Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors.
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
