Lead Financial Operations for Habitat for Humanity Guelph Wellington

Habitat for Humanity Guelph Wellington is a leading organization in creating housing affordability within Wellington County. As a key leader, you will play a crucial role in supporting the organization's mission through effective financial management.

The ideal candidate will have experience in monthly/annual financial reporting, cash management, and oversight of administrative controls. Key areas of responsibility include:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Management of residential construction projects;
  • Housing sales, including assumption of mortgages and related taxation issues;
  • Statutory and other filings with non-profit and for-profit companies;
  • Establishing and complying with financier requirements;
  • Fundraising activities;
  • Retail activities within non-profit re-seller stores.

Proficiency in Sage accounting systems and ability to port from Sage to another system of choice is an asset. Experience operating within a national federation and its related compliance with brand licensing requirements is also beneficial.

As a key leader, you will demonstrate technical proficiency and promote active leadership of a team. You will establish leadership through analysis, planning, and communication to diverse stakeholder groups.
