Job Summary

We are offering a competitive premium hourly rate for this casual position, with shifts from Monday to Friday 6:30 am to 2:30 pm. The successful candidate will be responsible for pre-operative chart review, connecting ECG, ETCO2, blood pressure & pulse oximetry monitors, starting intravenous lines, intra-operative patient monitoring and charting, post-operative patient monitoring and instructions prior to discharge, managing emergency drugs regarding expiry dates and re-ordering, running daily diagnostic tests of the Lifepak monitor and defibrillator, and being prepared to perform necessary duties in an emergency such as CPR, IV line administration, drug administration, airway management, and using a Lifepak monitor defibrillator.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Premium hourly rate: $45-$60 per hour
  • Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Familiarity with ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) principles
