Job Title: Apprentice Technician
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Apprentice Technician (Level 1/2) to join our service team at Guelph KIA. As an Apprentice Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and conducting maintenance procedures to determine vehicle repair requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform oil and filter changes
- Conduct multi-point inspections and diagnose issues such as noises and leaks
- Perform vehicle repairs and parts replacement if qualified
- Inspect vehicle fluid levels and lubricate moving parts
- Tire mounting, balancing, rotations, and repairs
- Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts
- Document all work performed on the repair order
- Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs
- Ensure customer vehicles are kept clean
Requirements:
- Level 1 or 2 Apprentice training
- Familiarity with ADP and CDK programs is considered an asset
- Professional demeanor and strong work ethic
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Efficient problem-solving skills
- Ability to meet physical demands
- Valid driver's license and safe driving history
