Project Safety Assurance Manager

At Alstom, we're committed to delivering safe and reliable solutions for our customers. As a Project Safety Assurance Manager, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the safety of our projects and programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate safety assurance activities on projects and programs to ensure compliance with safety processes and regulations.
  • Perform safety analysis, manage hazard logs, and review RAM, Cyber, V&V, and T&C activities from a safety perspective.
  • Develop and implement safety plans, manage safety workloads, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support tendering and project teams to integrate safety into project planning and execution.
  • Build and maintain safety reports and cases, and apply safety assurance methodologies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Organize and attend periodic safety reviews, and defend safety case arguments in front of internal and external assessors.
  • Manage safety assurance engineers and coordinate with internal and external resources to ensure effective safety management.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of safety processes and regulations, with experience in safety assurance and risk management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze complex safety data and develop effective safety plans and reports.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate safety risks.
  • Experience in railway business and knowledge of Cenelec standards for safety.
  • Master's degree in a relevant field, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in safety assurance and risk management.
