Black & McDonald is seeking a skilled Master Plumber to join our Service Division in Regina, SK. As a hands-on professional with excellent customer service skills and technical knowledge, you'll have the opportunity to build a solid foundation for your career.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and a great attitude towards the trade. Service Plumbers are required to be proficient in all pipe joining methods, comfortable with industry-specific tools, and adept at reading technical literature.
Day-to-day work may involve long hours and lifting heavy loads. However, B&M is committed to continuous improvement and will provide necessary training to maintain staff safety and support career development.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform planned maintenance activities on commercial plumbing and heating equipment, including Boilers, Pumps, Furnaces, Hot Water Tanks, Make-Up Air Units, Water Filtration Systems, and Backflow Devices.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial plumbing and heating systems.
- Organize and execute small re-pipe, retrofit, and tenant improvement projects.
- Complete daily service reports documenting maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities using B&M's mobile service reporting application.
- Compile accurate labor and material take-offs for work recommendations and materials ordering.
- Work autonomously or in teams to complete work efficiently, on time, and on budget.
- Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and team members via phone, text, email, and mobile applications.
- Participate in rotating 24/7 emergency on-call supports.

Education Requirements:
- Red Seal Plumbing Trade Qualification
- B-Gas Certification
- Cross Connection Control Certification
- A-Gas Certification is considered an asset.
- WHIMIS, SCOTT, R&R, Mobile Aerial Platform Training, Fall Protection Training, Confined Space Training is considered an asset.
Work Experience Requirements:
- Relevant Industry Experience (Required)
- Consideration may be given to those who do not possess all the above requirements if they demonstrate a strong work ethic, passion for the trade, and a desire to learn.
Skills, Abilities, and Other Requirements:
- Clean Class 5 SK Driver's License and abstract
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor with fellow employees, customers, and stakeholders.

- Knowledge of basic computer skills including Microsoft Outlook and mobile device applications
