Hotel Operations Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Operations Supervisor to join our team at Badlands Motel. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our hotel, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our hotel runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Co-ordination and Scheduling: Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Work Schedules and Procedures: Establish and maintain work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Reporting and Communication: Prepare and submit regular reports to management on hotel operations, guest feedback, and staff performance.
- Guest Services: Assist guests with special needs and ensure that their stay is comfortable and enjoyable.
- Staff Management: Co-ordinate, assign, and review work for staff members, including hiring and training new employees.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain the operation of computer systems, equipment, and machinery, and arrange for repairs to ensure business continuity and customer service delivery.
- Supply Chain Management: Requisition materials and supplies as needed to maintain hotel operations.
- Leadership and Supervision: 1-2 people or 3-4 people, depending on the hotel's needs.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a focus on attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Personal Qualities: Flexibility, team player, and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
- Experience: Experience an asset, but not required.
- Work Schedule: 30 to 40 hours per week.
- Language: English.
