Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Manager, Financial Instruments to support our Financial & Regulatory Reporting Management team in delivering accurate and timely financial information to our stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and prepare financial statement disclosures, board materials, and regulatory returns at the RBC Consolidated or legal entity level.
  • Prepare and review journal entries, proof of balance, and reconciliations for review by team members or manager.
  • Analyze reports and related data for completeness, accuracy, and data quality issues.
  • Investigate queries and resolve issues on behalf of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage legal entity regulatory, internal, or external audits.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in the financial services industry and/or accounting/finance reporting environment.
  • Strong analytical, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent computer skills, including advanced Excel and navigation through large datasets.
  • Advanced technical knowledge of IFRS, particularly with respect to Financial Instruments and Securities.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to multitask under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
