Detailing Trainee

Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Detailing Trainee. In this role, you'll assist our experienced detailers in creating accurate and efficient designs for our customers' projects.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the creation of 2D and 3D designs for reinforcing steel projects.
  • Develop working knowledge of AutoCAD and RebarCAD software.
  • Review and verify contract documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Detail simple projects with minimal supervision.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, placers, and architects/engineers.
  • Participate in weekly meetings to discuss safety, innovative ideas, and workloads.

Requirements
  • Vocational certificate in CAD design/drafting or currently enrolled.
  • Two-year technical diploma from an accredited school or college (preferred).
  • At least six months of experience with AutoCAD and Windows-based software.
  • Ability to read architectural/engineering blueprints.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organized and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
