Job Title: Class 1 Driver

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Class 1 Driver to join our team at West Coast Reduction Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely transporting food waste and by-products to our facilities for processing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive scheduled routes to collect food waste and by-products from various locations
  • Load and unload material from large trucks and/or trailers
  • Maintain tools, equipment, trucks, and trailers
  • Accurately complete truck scaling tickets and log sheets
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspection checks
  • Report any issues or concerns related to vehicle maintenance or supplies
Requirements:
  • Valid Class 1 Driver's License with a clean abstract
  • 4th Class Steam Ticket Certification preferred
  • Strong knowledge of surrounding neighbourhoods and areas
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, with excellent communication skills
