Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Commercial Insurance Business Development Professional to join our team in Edmonton, Alberta. This is a full-time position with an estimated annual salary of $60,000 - $80,000 based on experience and qualifications.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with small enterprise businesses in the commercial insurance space. Your primary objective will be to identify opportunities to provide tailored solutions that meet their unique needs and help them achieve their business goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with clients to understand their business objectives and develop customized insurance solutions that align with their needs.
  • Nurture and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at small enterprise businesses to ensure long-term success.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and product offerings.
  • Analyze market data and competitor activity to inform strategic business decisions.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth and revenue expansion in the small enterprise segment.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial insurance sales or business development, preferably in the small enterprise space.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, including liability, property, and workers' compensation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and achieving revenue targets.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific software and technology platforms.
