Turner Fleischer is a leading design studio in Canada, seeking a talented Intermediate Designer to join our team. As a key member of our design department, you will contribute to the development of innovative design solutions, balancing aesthetics and functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine design concepts, leveraging BIM and advanced software tools.
  • Prepare and coordinate drawings/documents, ensuring adherence to project requirements and design intent.
  • Maintain a good working knowledge of applicable building codes and municipal by-laws.
  • Collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors, and municipalities.

Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in Architecture from an accredited institution.
  • 1-3 years of experience in Architecture firms, with progressively more responsible roles.
  • Proficient experience in Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Working knowledge of applicable building codes and municipal by-laws, with experience in the municipal approval process.
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
