Job Title: Farm Supervisor

Golden Acre Farms Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our agricultural operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our farm, ensuring the highest quality crops are produced while maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations to ensure optimal crop yields and quality.
  • Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed at all times.
  • Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment to ensure efficient and effective crop production.
  • Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops to ensure optimal growth and development.
  • Examine product for quality and its readiness for the market.
  • Work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and ensure timely completion of tasks.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in agriculture or related field an asset.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in farm operations or related field.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
