Early Years Public Health Manager

We are seeking an experienced and innovative leader to fill the role of Early Years Public Health Manager in our Eastern Zone. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of public health programs and services, ensuring that they meet the needs of our community and align with provincial mandates.
This is a permanent full-time position that requires a high level of leadership, strategic thinking, and analytical skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of public health principles, policies, and practices, as well as experience in team management, conflict resolution, and change leadership.
As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for setting goals, communicating expectations, and monitoring achievements. You will also contribute to provincial initiatives and lead regional efforts to advance public health work across the zone and province.
The successful candidate will possess a baccalaureate degree in a related field, preferably with a master's degree in public health or a related field. They will also have 5-7 years of progressive leadership experience, including recent management experience in a unionized healthcare setting. Proficiency in LEADS and knowledge of applicable legislation and regulations are essential.
We offer a competitive salary range of $45.45-$60.39 per hour, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, plus a defined benefit pension plan.
