Automotive Parts Coordinator

Craftsman Collision is seeking a skilled Parts Coordinator to support our Edmonton location. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for receiving and processing parts, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring efficient parts room operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service, both internally and externally, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Support management of the shop in alignment with The Craftsman Way (TCW).
- Utilize the company dashboard to accurately identify and prioritize tasks.
- Participate actively in daily production meetings.
- Receive and mirror-match parts to ensure accuracy in support of the repair plan.
- Maintain professional relationships with all stakeholders.
- Enter parts and sublet invoices, and confirm margins using the Craftsman Management System.
- Maintain and organize parts carts, staging areas, and the parts room in alignment with The Craftsman Way.
- Update parts cart tags in alignment with The Craftsman Way.
- Deliver parts to stakeholders as required.
- Ensure timely completion of returns prior to file closure.
- Collaborate with the Shop Manager to ensure compliance with provincial and national regulatory standards.
- Ensure internal policies, procedures, and guidelines are consistently applied.
- Contribute to the goal of closing all files within 24 hours of vehicle delivery.
- Support company standards in SPARKLE, safety, and security.
- Represent the Craftsman Collision brand positively in all dealings internal and external.
Requirements:
- 1 year of related experience in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field is an asset.
- Strong verbal, written, and listening skills.
- A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Demonstrated time management, problem-solving, critical thinking, and sound judgment skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service-oriented attitude.
- Proficient in Outlook with the ability and willingness to learn new applications.
- Demonstrated desire and aptitude for learning and development.
- Interest in vehicles and the automotive industry.
- Valid class 5 driver's license with a clean driver's abstract over the last 3 years.
- Legally entitled to work in Canada with no restrictions.
