Therapist, Mental Health & Addiction

Make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families affected by mental health and addiction. As a Therapist, Mental Health & Addiction, you will be part of a dynamic team that provides compassionate and evidence-based care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide therapeutic support and guidance to patients in treatment interventions
  • Facilitate and co-facilitate group therapy sessions, including psycho-educational and experiential groups
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and other stakeholders
  • Document patient progress and treatment outcomes in accordance with hospital standards
  • Support clients in developing skills and strategies for recovery and wellness
Requirements:
  • Regulated Health Professional with a Master's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Current membership/registration with a professional discipline, such as the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers or the College of Registered Psychotherapists
  • Experience working with trauma and addictions populations, as well as knowledge of multiple frameworks and theoretical models of practice
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with clients, families, and community agencies in an integrated trans-disciplinary approach
