About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer who can design, develop, and maintain large-scale data systems, ensuring high-quality data delivery to support business decision-making. This role involves working with various technologies, tools, and processes to optimize data processing, storage, and analysis.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement data pipelines, architectures, and solutions using industry-standard tools and technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
  • Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions.
  • Develop and maintain databases, data warehouses, and data lakes to store and process large datasets.
  • Ensure data is accurate, complete, and up-to-date, resolving any discrepancies or issues that may arise.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in data engineering, applying this knowledge to improve existing processes and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5-7 years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, ETL, and data visualization concepts.
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Proficient in programming languages like Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and identify insights.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
