Culinary Specialist Job Description

At Chucks Roadhouse, we are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine food portion sizes and costs to maintain profitability.
  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements to meet customer demand.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet our high standards.
  • Train staff in food preparation, cooking, and handling to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient operations.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to optimize resource allocation.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
Requirements:
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to train and supervise staff.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing menu items and customer demands.
