Sales Director for Building Automation Systems

The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) will lead the company's efforts to expand and maintain relationships with Authorized System Integrator Clients and Distributor customers. This strategic role involves developing sales in a given geographic area, fostering special relationships with customers, and establishing strategic partnerships.
The RSM is responsible for achieving sales, profitability, and Client recruitment objectives. This includes representing the entire range of company products and services to assigned Clients, focusing on specific product or solution sets if required by Client vertical markets.
Key Responsibilities- Achieve assigned sales quota in designated Client accounts.
- Meet assigned expectations for profitability.
- Complete Client account plans that meet company standards.
- Maintain high Client satisfaction ratings that meet company standards.
- Ability to influence at all levels in an organization, from the owner, to the sales person, to the technicians.
- Potential to assume positions of greater impact and complexity over time.
- Reputation for utilizing innovative approaches in complex markets, ultimately executing for revenue and market share growth.
- Proficient in English communication skills, bilingualism (French, Spanish) is an asset.
- Four years University or College degree from an accredited institution or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of HVAC and/or Building Automation System channel sales management experience in a business-to-business environment.
The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. The company offers a competitive benefits package, including annual performance bonus, group insurance, and retirement plan. This position requires extensive travel, so a valid driver's license and passport are necessary. A home-based office is also required. As part of the Acuity Brands family, you will have access to a global recruitment system, with data stored in accordance with US laws.
