International Labour Relations Expert

This is a senior role that requires expertise in Employee and Labour Relations, with a focus on global operations. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in managing complex employee relations cases, negotiating collective bargaining agreements, and ensuring compliance with labour laws and regulations.
ResponsibilitiesThe Senior Manager, Global Employee and Labour Relations will lead and oversee the delivery of Employee Relations and Labour Relations activities within the region, ensuring alignment with business strategies, plans, and initiatives, and compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Lead Employee Relations Cases: Independently manage ER/LR cases requiring specialized depth of expertise and knowledge of the Bank's Code of Conduct, HR policies (e.g., Global Harassment Policy, Global Human Rights Policy), employment law, and assigned business lines/subsidiaries/countries.
- Negotiate Collective Bargaining Agreements: Coordinate and recommend language in collective bargaining mandate preparation, liaising with business lines, HRBP, local HRBP, and LR to provide advice and ensure adequate information for mandate formation.
- Develop Labour Relations Tools: Continuously improve communication related to global workforce initiatives and assess Bank policies for Labour Relations risk, reviewing proposed policies through an LR lens to identify potential risks and escalate accordingly.
To be considered for this role, you must have a post-secondary degree or college diploma in Human Resources, Business, or another related field, along with 10+ years of experience in Employee/Labour Relations or Human Resources. You should also possess expert knowledge of employment law and labour law, as well as negotiation and collective bargaining process skills.
