Nurse Practitioner for Geriatric Care

As a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients in our geriatric and complex continuing care units. Your expertise will ensure that our patients receive the best possible care, and your passion for nursing will make a lasting impact on their lives.
Responsibilities- Provide independent nursing services to designated patients/residents, including the administration of prescribed medical treatments.
- Collaborate and interact with the healthcare team to coordinate patient/resident care and discharge.
- Direct students, healthcare aides, and other support staff in the performance of patient/resident care, promoting a culture of teamwork and excellence.
- Participate in the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring that each patient receives individualized attention and support.
- Graduate of an approved Licensed Practical Nursing education program.
- Active registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba.
- Demonstrated knowledge of, and support for, the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba Standards of Practice for Licensed Practical Nurses.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize care and make sound decisions.
We offer a competitive salary range of $32.024 to $39.149 per hour, depending on experience.
