Job Title: Key Account Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Key Account Manager to join our team at Victoria Newitt Recruitment. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with our clients in the independent grocery industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with our clients to understand their business needs and develop strategic plans to drive growth and profitability.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at our client companies.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our client base and drive revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with our sales team to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and plans.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our clients, responding promptly to their needs and concerns.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date knowledge of the independent grocery industry, including market trends and competitor activity.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in the independent grocery industry, with a proven track record of success in account management and business development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of accountability and responsibility.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with excellent time management and prioritization skills.
