Camp Director Position

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Camp Director to lead our summer camp programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all aspects of our camp operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement program strategies to achieve our mission and goals.
- Lead and manage a team of staff and volunteers to ensure the success of our programs.
- Collaborate with the Executive Director to develop and implement marketing and fundraising strategies.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards.
- Provide faith formation leadership to camp staff and establish a faith curriculum for campers.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a coordinator or manager position at a camp or equivalent experience in personnel leadership.
- Personal skills: problem-solving ability, professionalism, leadership, empathy, conflict resolution, organization, adaptability, growth mindset, collaboration.
- Standard First Aid/CPR-C or equivalent.
- Clear Police Reference Check and Vulnerable Sector Screening.
Working Conditions:
- Work Schedule: 5 days/week (off-season), hours as required (peak operating season).
- Work Location: Combination of working remotely (off-season) and working from remote locations (occasionally), onsite (private accommodation provided) (in-season).
Compensation: Compensation is dependent on experience, qualifications, and hours worked. Expected salary range is $40,000. The position includes room and board (May to September).
