We are a dynamic and fast-paced restaurant looking for a skilled Line Cook to join our kitchen team. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Team Collaboration: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service.
- Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards and presented in a timely manner.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Certifications: Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate and Safe Food Handling certificate.
- Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and ability to multitask.
