About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Restaurant Cashier to join our team at Celine's Fish & Chips. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate the Point of Sale (POS) System to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Manage Cash Handling by processing cash, credit, and debit card payments, as well as handling customer complaints and concerns.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a Clean and Organized Work Environment by adhering to health and safety standards and ensuring the restaurant is clean and tidy at all times.
  • Work Effectively in a Fast-Paced Environment by multitasking, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.
  • Collaborate with Colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Previous Experience in a similar role is an asset.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills to interact with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Ability to Work in a Team Environment and contribute to a positive and productive team culture.
  • Basic Math Skills to handle cash, make change, and balance the till.
  • Availability to Work Flexible Hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
