Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Management Specialist to join our Purchasing team in Ottawa, Ontario. As a key member of our construction operations team, you will be responsible for managing core data related to construction activities, ensuring timely and accurate data delivery to support business operations.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience working with data management systems. This role requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain consistency and accuracy of existing setups, master codes, and descriptions for homeowner and trade-facing materials.
  • Support the Design Studio in identifying, pricing, and setting up new products and processes that suit the home market.
  • Liaise with Architecture to ensure complete and accurate data is received prior to sales launches.
  • Extract and format budget reports from JD Edwards for VP and DP level approvals.
  • Support Finance Post Budget Review and other direct cost requests by validating direct costs and providing variance analysis.
  • Develop and maintain weekly and monthly reporting to highlight departmental performance against launch proformas and five-year plans.
  • Adhere to division-wide requirements for purchasing and production information required for entry into BuildPro and JD Edwards.
  • Provide administrative support to Contracts Managers and Department VP as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • 2+ years of progressive experience in data management, preferably with JD Edwards platform.
  • In-depth knowledge of data retrieval, data scrubbing, and overall data management.
  • Strong mathematical aptitude and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
What We Offer
