We are seeking an accomplished Sales Director to lead our team in Grande Prairie, Alberta.

Elevation HR's client is a leading provider of broadband internet services in rural and underserved markets. As a seasoned sales professional, you will be responsible for growing, mentoring, and leading a dedicated in-person sales team and a Community Ambassador team.

Job Summary:

In this role, you will identify opportunities in our expanding market, build relationships with key sales influencers, and lead your team to deliver consistent sales results. Your passion for connecting world-class broadband internet to rural communities will be invaluable in driving success.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Cycle Management: Oversee the entire sales journey, empowering your team to 'seal the deal' with our valued customers.
  2. Trust Champion: Develop and maintain strong, trust-filled relationships that align with our values, ensuring customer loyalty and satisfaction.
  3. Leadership and Development: Motivate and lead a team of Sales professionals, establishing strategic objectives, targets, and KPIs, providing coaching and development plans.
  4. Results-Driven: Understand the metrics that support the sales process, identifying opportunities based on data-driven insights.
  5. Community Engagement: Partner with key stakeholders, influencers, and external partners to boost our company's presence and reach new heights.
  6. Customer Experience: Lead initiatives across Canada, generating meaningful relationships with customers and driving subscriber growth.

About You:

  1. A deep understanding of direct sales in Western Canada, with strong experience in leading event and door-to-door teams (telecommunications experience preferred).
  2. Familiarity with fiber-optic internet technology and trends that help businesses connect and evolve.
  3. A proven track record of driving growth and improving results, identifying strengths, and opportunities, and measuring success.
  4. An understanding of rural and sub-urban communities, their connectivity needs, and how to explain the value of fiber internet.
  5. Comfortable looking for insights in metrics, finding opportunities, and sharing findings with leadership and the team.
  6. An open and honest approach to salesmanship, standing behind our product and service, and striving to deliver on every promise made.
