Job Title: Senior Web Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Web Developer to join our team at Boyd Interactive.

Job Description:

The Senior Web Developer will be responsible for designing and implementing mobile gaming applications on an open-source Linux platform using HTML5, Angular, ionic, and integrating with restful APIs. The successful candidate will have primary responsibility for:

  • Designing and implementing code in HTML5, Angular, ionic, JavaScript, and TypeScript to support high-transaction rate and mission-critical mobile gaming applications.
  • Designing and implementing account management modules, database interaction, APIs, financial transactions, back-office applications, and various administration applications.
  • Managing and implementing changes specified by the design team to multiple websites.
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • At least 5 years of relevant development experience.
  • Comfortable with design, implementation, and partitioning or delegation of large, complex features.
  • Experience with developing mobile gaming and/or mobile applications in a high-transaction, high-security environment.
  • Demonstrates strong HTML5, Canvas skills.
  • Skilled JavaScript developer with Angular and ionic experience.
  • Good knowledge of MySQL and web services integration.
  • Experience with Facebook API's.
  • Experience with logical data modeling and physical relational database design.
  • Understanding of highly efficient, highly robust, transactional scalable systems.
  • Understanding of redundancy, scalability, fail-over mechanism.
  • Understanding of communications transaction processing systems.
  • Understanding of internet, electronic commerce, and web-related technologies.
  • Formal software education.
  • Ability to adapt to new environments and the ability to identify, propose, and implement changes and improvements.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Estimated Salary:

$80,000 - $120,000 per year.
