About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Business Development Manager to join our team at Westlake. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and development in Western Canada.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in Western Canada, leveraging your expertise and relationships to drive sales growth.
  • Product Knowledge: Conduct training sessions to educate customers and partners on our products and services, ensuring they have the knowledge and confidence to make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to drive business growth and identify new opportunities.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders through various channels, including presentations, reports, and emails.
  • Travel: Travel up to 20-30% of the time to meet with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Reporting: Provide regular sales reports and updates to management, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure alignment and drive business growth.
  • Sales Performance: Meet or exceed sales targets, driving business growth and revenue.
Requirements
  • Education: University or college graduate preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of five years' experience in the building/construction industry, with a proven track record of sales success.
  • Skills: Exceptional sales competencies, strong business acumen, effective communication and presentation skills, creative problem-solving skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Location: The ideal candidate will reside in Western Canada and be willing to travel up to 20-30% of the time.
