Stingray Radio, a leading global music, media and technology company, is seeking a passionate, experienced sales professional to join our team as a full-time Sales Strategist based out of Ottawa, Ontario.

Your Role

  • You will represent the top two ranked radio stations in Ottawa, Hot 89.9 and LiVE 88.5, and have the opportunity to work with all Stingray Radio stations from Vancouver to St John's.
  • You will help clients grow and succeed using our wide array of traditional and digital media solutions including: Radio, Programmatic Display, Programmatic Video, Connected TV, Digital Out Of Home, Search, Social, and Stingray's proprietary Retail Media platform.
  • You will own the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation and prospecting to performing client needs analysis, presenting solutions, negotiating, and execution of closing strategies, to the final stage of bringing new clients on board.
  • You will drive revenue growth and achieve revenue targets through consultative sales and development of strategic proposals.
  • You will collaborate with promotions, programming, creative, production and digital campaign managers to build and support compelling, audience-based, multi-media advertising campaigns.
  • You will manage and grow existing client base while prospecting to create new business.

Your Qualifications

  • You have experience in Marketing, Sales or Business Management (experience in Multi-Media advertising or digital environments an asset).
  • You have 2+ years of in-person, consultative B2B sales or account management experience.
  • You have a strong track record of achieving and exceeding set targets.
  • You are an excellent communicator, presenter and negotiator.
  • You are able to build strong relationships while maintaining a professional approach at all times.
  • You are well-organized and accountable with strong time management skills, prioritizing multiple demands in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment.
  • You are proactive and embrace change; you are positive, consultative, enthusiastic, and optimistic.
  • You reside in the Ottawa area with a valid driver's license, use of a vehicle and valid vehicle insurance.
