About the Role
  • This permanent position is part of a fast-paced environment where you will be working on various telecommunications tasks.
  • You will be responsible for inspecting and testing cable signals and associated equipment, as well as repairing and diagnosing faults in telecommunications equipment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance - Install cable modems and software to enable Internet access, and repair or replace faulty cables, power suppliers and amplifiers.
  • Testing and Repair - Inspect operation of telecommunications equipment, analyze test results and adjust, change or repair switching system, network, associated equipment and software.
  • Customer Service - Provide on-site customer service, initiate the dispatch of appropriate repair personnel and complete and maintain test and service reports.
What We're Looking For
  • A team player with leadership skills and a client-focused approach.
  • Someone with flexibility, organized, reliable and accurate work habits.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Able to work in a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching and kneeling, and lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
Language and Work Environment
  • English is the primary language of work.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a strong attention to detail.
