Job Description

We are seeking an Architect to join our team in developing design solutions for architectural projects. As an Architect, you will work with other members of the design team to create innovative and effective design solutions that meet the context, budget, and aesthetic requirements of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compile and analyze information from reports and published documents to understand project requirements
  • Develop architectural designs that meet quality parameters, project timelines, and budgetary requirements
  • Coordinate design intent with other disciplines and integrate engineering requirements, site surveys, and field review information
  • Prepare design reports, drawings, and models following office standards
  • Perform site visitations to ensure compliance with construction documents and identify any deviations
  • Review project products, services, and shop drawings to ensure adherence to project documents and relevant jurisdictional codes
Requirements
  • 5-10 years of project work experience in architectural design
  • Experience in Residential projects is an asset
  • Architectural design software skills including Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, PhotoShop, and other architectural design software
  • Familiarity with MEP and Structural building systems and building codes
  • Registered with a relevant professional architectural association is an asset
