Job Summary:
Parsons is seeking a highly skilled Senior Construction Project Manager to lead the delivery of municipal infrastructure projects in Western Canada. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background in road and bridge construction, as well as excellent communication and project management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and administer projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality, sustainability, and profitability.
- Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and design teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Supervise designs, contract preparation, and authenticate professional work products.
- Conduct infrastructure condition assessments and construction administration and inspection of work performed by others.
- Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Requirements:
- Eligibility for Professional Membership with the engineering or technologist associations in Western Canada.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in municipal and transportation works.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong technical background in road and bridge construction and municipal transportation infrastructures.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification to conduct site survey or material testing.
- Experience with sizeable engineering/construction projects.
