Improve Healthcare Outcomes for Indigenous Communities

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Program Manager, Policy Planning and Support Services, Indigenous Health to lead our efforts in improving healthcare outcomes for Indigenous communities.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating strategic programs and projects that address the unique health needs of Indigenous people. Your expertise and leadership will play a critical role in helping us achieve our goal of closing the health gap between Indigenous and non-Indigenous British Columbians.

With a strong background in program management and a deep understanding of the complex issues facing Indigenous communities, you will work collaboratively with internal and external partners to design and implement effective solutions. Your ability to build relationships, manage stakeholders, and drive results will be essential in achieving our objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for Indigenous health initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to identify and address gaps in Indigenous health services
  • Manage and evaluate the effectiveness of Indigenous health programs and projects
  • Build and maintain relationships with Indigenous community leaders and organizations

You will be working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, and your ability to adapt to changing circumstances while maintaining a focus on our mission will be essential.

Requirements
  • Master's degree in Health Administration, Social Justice, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in program management, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Canadian colonial impacts on Indigenous people and health issues affecting Indigenous populations

A competitive salary of $110,000 - $130,000 per year is offered, commensurate with experience.
