Oil and Gas Recruitment Specialist

At Roska DBO Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Oil and Gas Recruitment Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our recruitment team, you will be responsible for identifying and attracting top talent in the oil and gas industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with oil and gas producers and clients to understand their workforce needs and ensure their staffing requirements are met.
  • Create and maintain job postings based on identified needs and geographical areas.
  • Manage the applicant tracking system by qualifying and tagging resumes and keeping candidate profiles up-to-date.
  • Screen applicants by reviewing resumes, assessing suitability, conducting preliminary screening interviews, and routing resumes to clients.
  • Set up interviews with clients and potential candidates, and at times, participate in these meetings.
  • Travel to remote locations for customer relations, HSE, and logistics support.
  • Attend job fairs and develop creative strategies to attract and engage potential candidates.
  • Assist with arranging pre-employment testing and background checks for potential candidates.
  • Arrange travel, accommodations, training, and equipment needs for successful candidates.
  • Represent the company and client's brand, safety, and culture in all activities.
  • Support new hires throughout their employment term.
  • Stay current on company guidelines, policies, and procedures, as well as employment laws and practices.

Requirements:

  • Previous HR and/or recruitment experience is an asset.
  • Knowledge of the oil and gas industry, particularly in field and plant operations.
  • Attention to detail and a sense of urgency to meet deadlines and goals.
  • Superior customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Proven computer skills and experience using an applicant tracking system.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow through on assigned tasks.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse, multi-branch team.
  • Flexible schedule, with occasional travel to recruitment events and work in the evenings and weekends.

In addition to fulfilling contract operating needs of oil and gas producing, midstream, and pipeline companies, Roska Designs, Builds, and Operates well-site facilities, rents equipment, and provides Production Testing and flowback services using a company-owned well testing fleet.
