Automation Engineer

BBA Consultants is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to join our team in Sept-Îles, Canada. As a key member of our automation team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing automated solutions for our clients in the mining and metals, and energy sectors.

We are looking for a highly skilled Automation Engineer to join our team in Sept-Îles, Canada. The successful candidate will have a strong background in automation, instrumentation, and control, with experience in design, instrumentation, and control. Additionally, they will have excellent programming skills, including experience with SCADA, PLC, and DCS systems.

The Automation Engineer will be responsible for:

• Designing and implementing automated solutions for our clients
• Providing technical assistance during construction work
• Performing inspections or technical surveys
• Helping with programming PLCs, DCSs, and operator interfaces

To be considered for this role, the successful candidate will have:

• A Bachelor's degree in automated production engineering, electrical engineering, or other relevant training
• Three or fewer years of relevant experience
• Member of a Canadian professional engineering association
• Experience in design, instrumentation, and control
• Experience in programming control systems (SCADA, PLC, DCS)

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. This includes a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a generous retirement plan.
