National Sales Manager Role Overview
Talis Group's client is a leading manufacturer and supplier of private label food and beverage products, catering to major retailers across Canada. As a National Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding market share, and nurturing key relationships with clients.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key accounts, including Walmart Canada, to drive sales growth and expand market share.
- Pursue new business opportunities to grow the customer base and develop new relationships within the private label industry.
- Develop and deliver tailored presentations and bids to prospective clients, highlighting the value proposition of our products.
- Manage all aspects of account operations, including pricing, promotional communications, and order processing.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop custom products and special projects for clients, ensuring quality and satisfaction.
- Participate in trade shows, seminars, and customer meetings to foster and maintain key relationships.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
- Proven sales expertise in the private label food and beverage industry.
- National account management experience with Walmart.
- Fluency in English and French.
- 10+ years of experience in new business development and managing high-profile accounts.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence key decision-makers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with SAP experience a plus.
- A proactive, self-motivated individual with excellent business acumen and leadership skills.
