National Sales Manager Role Overview

Talis Group's client is a leading manufacturer and supplier of private label food and beverage products, catering to major retailers across Canada. As a National Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding market share, and nurturing key relationships with clients.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key accounts, including Walmart Canada, to drive sales growth and expand market share.
  • Pursue new business opportunities to grow the customer base and develop new relationships within the private label industry.
  • Develop and deliver tailored presentations and bids to prospective clients, highlighting the value proposition of our products.
  • Manage all aspects of account operations, including pricing, promotional communications, and order processing.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop custom products and special projects for clients, ensuring quality and satisfaction.
  • Participate in trade shows, seminars, and customer meetings to foster and maintain key relationships.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
  • Proven sales expertise in the private label food and beverage industry.
  • National account management experience with Walmart.
  • Fluency in English and French.
  • 10+ years of experience in new business development and managing high-profile accounts.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence key decision-makers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with SAP experience a plus.
  • A proactive, self-motivated individual with excellent business acumen and leadership skills.
